Nothing changes in your account unless you approve it.

The free audit and the Watch plan only read your account. On Manage, AdHelm makes five kinds of change — each one you approve, each one reversible for 30 days. This page names all five and everything it will never do.

Read-only by default

Watch reads your account and applies nothing. Every finding is shown to you. Not one of them is acted on.

Five changes, then it stops

On Manage there are five things AdHelm can change and no sixth. Each one waits for you to approve it.

30 days to undo

Every applied change is written down with the value it replaced. Put any of them back for 30 days.

The five changes

This is the whole list. On Manage, AdHelm shows you the change and the reason, and waits. On Watch it does none of them.

  1. 1.Block a search term

Adds a negative keyword so your ad stops showing for a search that was never going to book.

  2. 2.Pause a keyword

Turns off a keyword that is spending money and returning nothing.

  3. 3.Pause an ad group

Turns off a whole ad group when the pattern holds across every keyword in it.

  4. 4.Move budget between your campaigns

Money moves from one of your campaigns to another of yours. Your total daily budget does not go up.

  5. 5.Adjust device bids

Bids more on phones and less on desktop, or the other way round.

What it will never do

  • Never rewrites an ad that is running. Your copy is yours.
  • Never deletes a campaign, an ad group, or a keyword.
  • Never touches your billing or your conversion tracking settings.
  • Never raises a budget past the cap you set.
  • It can build a new campaign, but it builds it paused. Only you can switch it on.

One exception, and we would rather you heard it here: if Google disapproves an ad, AdHelm can replace the copy so the ad group is not dark for a month. It keeps the original, so you can put it back.

Read-only is enforced on our server

Your plan is checked on every route that could write to your account, before the request reaches Google. On Watch the answer is no, every time. Hiding a button would not be enough, and we say so in the code:

“A read-only plan that merely hides the apply button is not read-only.”

How a change happens

Five steps, in this order, every time.

  1. Connect

Link Google Ads with OAuth. We never see your password, and you can disconnect at any time.

  2. Audit

Ninety days of your account, read and ranked. Free, and no card.

  3. Read the reasoning

Every recommendation says what it found, what it would cost you to ignore, and how confident it is.

  4. Approve

You approve each change. There is no mode you can buy where AdHelm applies changes on its own.

  5. Undo

The change is logged with the value it replaced. Reverse it for 30 days.

Your data

You connect through Google OAuth, so we never hold your password. Your workspace data is kept separate from every other workspace, and access is checked on our server. Ask us to delete it and we will.

PHI and HIPAA: AdHelm is an advertising tool. It does not ask for clinical data and does not store any: no symptoms, no diagnoses, no treatment history, no test results, no clinical notes. Do not type any into it. We do not offer a BAA and we hold no HIPAA certification. If your practice needs either, tell us before you buy — today the answer is no.

Google's rules

We will not help you get around Google's ad policies. No cloaking, no tricks. Your ads and the claims in them are yours, and you are responsible for them.

Start with proof

Run the audit. Decide afterwards.

The audit is free and needs no card. Read-only connection — nothing in your account changes unless you approve it.
